Deep South Aviaries is a privately owned breeding ranch located in beautiful Newton, Alabama. Since 1993 we have worked to develop a collection of healthy and hardy breeding stock. We currently have over 20 species of parrots. Deep South Aviaries is a closed breeding facility; all birds entering the property are quarantined for an appropriate time before entering the breeding aviaries. All babies are incubator hatched and hand-fed from day one, to ensure you of the healthiest pet possible.
Babies are well socialized and raised in a loving home environment. Babies are available seasonally. Availability is variable depending on the time of the year, weather and supply and demand.
We strongly recommend a 25% deposit to assure you that you get the baby you want. They go fast. Please call for approximate times that babies will be available. We appreciate your interest in our birds and hope that you will find the species you seek on our current price list.
We are sorry that we do not operate a retail store or showroom and do not have a facility open to the public to view birds. This policy protects our babies and breeding stock from theft and/or the possible introduction of disease from another facility.
