Our pet blue-front Mumbles shoots the photographer a curious look. Blue fronts acquire extensive vocabularies. Mumbles imitates the telephone, answering machine, microwave and even the house alarm! His favorite phrases are "Wanna go out?" and "Whatcha doin' huh?"
A one day old baby macaw waits to be fed. All babies are incubator hatched here at the farm. Young babies such as this macaw are fed every two hours around the clock.
You woke us up from our nap!" These fat three week old baby macaws spend much of their day sleeping and GROWING! Babies are housed individually at our farm to better monitor their progress and health.
One of our large Honduran Yellow Naped Amazon pairs. Napes are reknowned for their talking and singing ability. We house our Amazons in large spacious aviaries. Amazons have a tendency to become overweight and need plenty of exercise and a low-fat diet.
